Miki WIP

I thought I would post the work I am doing right now, to keep this blog alive.  Doing art trade with cel, so I am drawing one of the OCs, Miki.  Not sure why I picked her, but probably of her attitude on the picture.

The original eyes I drew before inking were much larger and I actually want to move away from large eyes and keep it small and cute.  The thing is now I keep being bothered by her new eyes!  I would probably not do a thick line for this drawing, just to see how it turns out.  I will try to color it if possible.

That was my first attempt on the drawing.  I wanted to do a more perspective drawing, but I failed miserably.  See below for the image.

Not satisfied with the girl on the left. Scrapped!

Well, it’s not really a revision of Ayase since I thought she is fine the way she is now.  I probably just need to do some color adjustment, that’s about it.

She was originally drawn as a more mature type (as in the same age group as Elise).  Then I revised her to be much younger and my friend who came out with her rough idea of her design said he didn’t like her to be young.  Yes, she was originally designed based on my friend specification.  She was quite inspired by Mai from Kanon.

Anyway my work of her here will be an animation.
