Elise in even shorter hair

I don’t know why, but I can’t never draw Elise in the way I would be fully satisfied.  Hence I keep on redoing here and there.  She is now back to her old shorter hair after having a long hair for a while.

Talk to the hand!

Oh my, I can’t tell how many times I redo her design.  I have decided to dump her skirt with a shorter pants to see how it goes.  The main highlight is her robotic gauntlet, the hammer was added as an extra.

I decided to try her with a shorter hair again, short of longer than the original old design but shorter than the newer version after that.  Also I cut her long fringe that covers the middle part of the hair.  Cut them straight with scissors!

So here you have it.  Elise the little engineer.

Originally drawn for a single panel, but the quotes were too long to fit in a single panel, so I had to split them.

I had the sketch on my notepad at work while in the meeting.  The last panel was added later on.  The original sketch has Elise caught a fish, I thought it wasn’t too funny.

I wanted to focus more on her right hand, but I didn’t like the overall pose.  So, I redrew her again (again to focus on the hand).

Or maybe I’ll sketch another before I did the outline and color, although I actually like the second sketch pose.  Perhaps I’ll see what I can do with it.  In the third pose, I drew her a little to big and hence her legs look short (else it will go over the paper).  Sad!

Ahh…  She is still the way I want her to be.  An engineer!

Anyway, just a small concept of Elise with the mechanical hand.  It was originally bigger than that and it looked weird (unbalanced) so I make it smaller.  Wanted to draw her with energy pack on her back, but her long hair kinda covers it.

Oh, I still like the idea of having a firearm for each character, this is just an add on.  Guns are cool, right?  Right?  : )

Slow update, I’ll try to juggle things so I get to draw some while doing other things as well.  Maybe I’ll upload my past work that I haven’t uploaded.

Supposedly a motivational message (with a pun) for New Year 2011, but as the same as before, I never have one in the first place.

Season Greetings from Elise and Kyrie

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…  Wish it was snowing here!

Kyrie as a reindeer (antler hair) and Elise as Santa.  I actually enjoyed drawing this one and I loved how it turns out, although I might have drawn Kyrie a bit too skinny again.  Nevertheless I enjoyed drawing two of them together.
