A change in personality

Decided to pimp revamp Ayase since the idea of silent assassin is boring and cliché.  So instead I made her to the opposite direction.  A sort of leader type and have a bloodlust trait.

Her hair is relatively shorter as well (so they won’t get in her way?).  I still wanted to draw an AR15 in, but I don’t know where I should put it.  You can see a straight vertical line from her right hand to the floor.  That’s where the AR15 supposed to be. :D

An old drawing I did last year’s July.  Chose not to upload it at that time because I wasn’t satisfied with the creatures/monsters she is fighting with.  I was going to draw zombies, but I wasn’t sure what changed my mind at that time.

I’ll dig in more of my pile of papers.

Where does she keep all the magazines?

The highlight is of course, the AR-15 she is holding (while ignoring the other weapons).  Originally drawn with only AR-15 and 2 katanas (with different lengths) in mind, but added the 2 revolvers near the end.  No reason really.  The rifle has silencer since it gives her a more stealthy type of person.

I have limited knowledge of weapons, so I have to use reference to draw.  Of course I don’t even know the exact model she is holding as well. :)

Ayase in ruined city.  Well, yeah background was not done too well.  I drew this back in early August.

She now wields a revolver (since sis said the pirate-gun doesn’t fit her, so I tried to draw her with a different gun).  I actually like the revolver.

I actually like a ruined city scenery.  That’s why game like Fallout sold me (almost immediately).  I also like the ruined places in Final Fantasy XIII in Grand Pulse (ok, that might be a spoiler, but looking at how old the game is, I guess it’s fine).

Ayase playing baseball.  I have forgotten (the drawing is a month old) why I decided to draw her playing baseball (might be one of those random thoughts while walking).

I originally plan to draw her hitting the ball, holding the bat like wielding a sword.  Anyway the pose is referenced from image I found on google.

Home Run!

Ayase, the improved version (at least I think she is improved).  My aim is to combine old style and modern look, like Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai.

Her weapon is a dagger (well and sword, too) and a revolver.  I am just experimenting with the revolver, since I kinda like the idea of having a close and ranged weapon put together.

Done a while ago, but I didn’t want to post it since it wasn’t done quite well.  Since I don’t have much updates to my blog lately, I thought I should at least keep it alive as usual.

Now, time to juggle between learning how to draw/color and playing Resonance of Fate.

Well, it’s not really a revision of Ayase since I thought she is fine the way she is now.  I probably just need to do some color adjustment, that’s about it.

She was originally drawn as a more mature type (as in the same age group as Elise).  Then I revised her to be much younger and my friend who came out with her rough idea of her design said he didn’t like her to be young.  Yes, she was originally designed based on my friend specification.  She was quite inspired by Mai from Kanon.

Anyway my work of her here will be an animation.

Ayase working at the Sushi Bar.  This is not the first time I came out with this idea.  In my old blog, I wrote a small conversation between all my original characters talking rubbish.

Worked this on the weekend slowly and I only get to finish it today.

Oh yeah, did I tell you I haven’t eaten and I feel absolutely hungry?  I want sushi.

So, I have come out with my own onsen scene for my drawing.

For those not familiar with my characters.  The front row is Elise, Kyrie (Elise’s stepsister), Emily, Ayase and the one behind is Ikhlas.
